The Assisted Living Facility Manager Program of the Arizona Institute for Health Sciences is a Board-approved training program for those who aspire to become licensed ALF Managers! The course will provide a comprehensive understanding of the duties, responsibilities, and skills required to manage and operate an assisted living facility.

The program is designed to be completed within six months. Upon completion of the program, students need to take the Facility Manager Knowledge Exam. Note that you must have a score of 75% or better to pass the knowledge portion of the exam. To know more about the exam, read the complete handbook at Headmaster LLP.
After passing the knowledge exam, participants will be eligible to take the NCIA Board's certification exam to become a licensed Assisted Living Facility Manager in the state. Note: Assisted Living Caregiver Certificate dated on or after August 2013 is required, except if you are presently a Licensed Arizona Nurse (LPN/RN),Doctor (MD/DO),or Skilled Nursing Facility (SNF) Administrator.
